Privacy Policy

Imported photos, thumbnails, print assets, a child’s name and birthday, photo filenames and paths, page text, and book backups are stored on the current device. BabyBook does not automatically upload this content to the developer’s servers.

Photo capture dates may be used for local sorting. EXIF GPS information is not written into thumbnails, previews, or print assets generated by BabyBook.

The seven-day trial is recorded only in app data on the current device and does not create an App Store transaction. On iPhone, Apple StoreKit 2 verifies Personal Pro purchases, restores, refunds, and revocations on the device. BabyBook does not send StoreKit transaction receipts to the developer’s server.

The Mac App Store version may send the App Store receipt supplied by Apple over encrypted HTTPS to the BabyBook entitlement service, which asks Apple to verify purchase and refund status. This request does not contain photos, book content, child information, filenames, or local paths. The receipt is processed only as long as necessary to verify access; no user account is created, and it is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

QR photo transfer runs only when you start it. Your phone sends photos directly to the Mac over the same local network; they do not pass through the BabyBook entitlement service. Transfer sessions and QR codes expire, and temporary transfer files are removed after import.

Runtime errors and storage diagnostics remain on your device by default. If you choose to send a support email, you can review it in your system mail app before sending. The developer may retain the message and reply to resolve your request and keep necessary service records.

Diagnostic summaries generated by the app deliberately exclude photos, thumbnails, a child’s name, photo filenames, file paths, and original image data.

• Books and local diagnostics remain on the current device until you delete a book or use “Erase All Local Data” in Settings.
• PDF, HTML, and .babybook backup files you save elsewhere remain under your control and are not removed by in-app cleanup.
• Apple manages App Store purchase records under its own policies. Local offline access records are removed when you use “Erase All Local Data.” On Mac, moving only the app to the Trash may leave local app data in place.

BabyBook is intended for adults who manage family photos. It does not ask children to create accounts and does not collect children’s contact details, device identifiers, or behavioral data through the app. Please do not attach children’s photos or unnecessary personal information to support emails.

Purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit and App Store services. BabyBook does not include advertising networks, cross-app tracking, or remote product-analytics SDKs. Network requests use HTTPS. The Mac version encrypts its offline entitlement cache when secure macOS storage is available; the iPhone version reevaluates access from current StoreKit entitlements.

Apple’s processing of transaction and App Store account data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
